Screw machining

From small to very large series, screw machining is a process whereby a material is shaped from rods or coils using cutting tools.

With this method, a high precision of the order of one tenth, one hundredth or one thousandth of a millimeter is achieved so as to obtain the desired shape.

The parts are machined on automatic numerical command CNC or CAM screw machines. The pieces produced are generally small in size and vary from 0.1 to 60 mm in diameter.

Once a series of parts has been made, it can undergo various processing operations (thermal, chemical, mechanical) before being used in the production of subassemblies.
